Frequently asked questions: What is polyurea? It is a two-component coating material, sprayed with equipment which heats it and mixes the material right at the spray gun. It is widely used in bed liners. How fast does it dry? Many polyurea products will dry to the touch in 20 seconds, allow foot traffic in 2 hours, and reach full cure in 24 hours. Can I get custom colors? Yes.  Formulations of polyurea are available which can be color-matched and will remain color-fast. Note that lighter colors in less expensive formulations will yellow over time. Is it mobile? Yes.  OTN can provide excellent surface preparation and coating application at your facility and/or jobsite or at our own Blast and Paint Complex. Is it chemical resistant? Polyurea has good chemical resistance, comparable to other epoxy coatings. With the addition of a performance topcoat, resistance to a wide range of acids, caustics, fuels, etc. is achievable.
